(Facebook pic) PUTRAJAYA: Activist Tamim Dahri Abdul Razak will be charged in a Langkawi court tomorrow, says Inspector-General of Police Khalid Ismail. At a press conference here, Khalid said the cops have managed to track down Tamim in Thailand, adding that they were working with Thai authorities to repatriate him. Tamim will be charged with desecrating the Trishul, a sacred Hindu symbol, at an old temple in Langkawi, Kedah. The charge will be framed under Section 295 of the Penal Code for defiling a sacred object with the intention of insulting a religion, punishable by up to two years in prison, a fine, or both, upon conviction.
