Nilai police chief Johari Yahya said the suspect was apprehended past midnight. He said the incident was believed to have stemmed from a RM10,000 debt the suspect owed the victim. He said the 42-year-old suspect was arrested by a road near Saujana Puchong at around 12.55am today, Harian Metro reported. The suspect then led the police to where he disposed of the alleged murder weapon – a retractable blade – and the victim’s belongings. Johari said the suspect admitted to slashing the victim’s neck because she had threatened to expose him online over the debt he owed her. The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
