GEORGE TOWN: A couple who allegedly committed lewd acts at a Chinese cemetery in Air Itam, Penang, last week will be charged at the magistrates’ court here tomorrow. Timur Laut district police chief Abdul Rozak Muhammad said the pair would be charged with committing indecent acts in public. The couple, aged 58 and 37, were arrested in Air Itam and Sungai Ara following a report filed against them after a video clip of their alleged act went viral. The viral video showed the pair being confronted after allegedly engaging in a lewd act at a tombstone in the Batu Gantung Chinese cemetery, which saw the man in the nude. NST quoted Penang police chief Azizee Ismail as saying the two were not married. They are serving their remand until tomorrow.
