KUCHING (Dec 24): The Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) has ushered in the Christmas season by putting up festive decorations at several key landmarks around Kota Padawan, including the compound of the council’s office.

According to its chairman Tan Kai, the decorations reflect the spirit of unity and harmony in Padawan, which is home to a diverse community that celebrates various festive occasions together.

Among the notable sites adorned with Christmas-themed decorations is the Batu Kawah Riverbank Park, a popular public space frequented by residents.

In celebration of the season, Tan also distributed the MPP 2026 calendar to residents in areas under the council’s jurisdiction.
