No Raya open houses for govt, less foreign trips to save funds

PETALING JAYA: The government will not hold any open houses for Hari Raya Aidilfitri and reduce the number of trips abroad as part of saving funds in view of the economic impact of the Middle East conflict. At a press conference, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said government-linked companies and government-linked investment companies have also been ordered not to hold Aidilfitri open houses.
