The suspect was reportedly shot at the jewellery shop before being taken to hospital where he was declared dead. PETALING JAYA: A man armed with a sharp object was shot dead while trying to rob a jewellery shop here this morning. The suspect arrived on a motorcycle around 11am when the shop had just opened and no customers were around, Berita Harian reported. The man got into a scuffle with a security officer before another guard fired two shots at him, severely wounding him. The suspect was rushed to hospital where he was declared dead. Police are still investigating the incident.
