Kelantan police chief Yusoff Mamat said those questioned included the 29-year-old victim’s relatives, colleagues and lecturers. “An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of death,” Utusan Malaysia reported him as saying in Kota Bharu today. Yusoff asked the public not to speculate on the matter or spread rumours to avoid hampering the investigation. Yesterday, Kelantan health department director Azman Yacob said a committee had been set up to investigate the death. The case has been classified as sudden death.
