PETALING JAYA: A foreigner studying at a local university was found dead after he allegedly fell from the fifth floor of a condominium in Cyberjaya yesterday. Sepang police chief Norhizam Bahaman said police received a report that a man was found unconscious in front of the lobby at about 2pm, Harian Metro reported. “A team from the Cyberjaya police station was dispatched to the scene and found the victim lying face down on the lobby floor in a pool of blood,” he was quoted as saying. Norhizam said initial investigations found that the 39-year-old victim is believed to have fallen from the fifth floor of the building where his unit was located. A forensic team that examined the scene found no elements of foul play, he added. “The case has been classified as sudden death, and the body has been sent to the forensic and pathology department at Cyberjaya Hospital for a post-mortem,” he said. Police urged the public to respect the sensitivity of the case and refrain from spreading speculation.
