SHAH ALAM: Two men on a motorcycle shot at a lorry driver in Kapar, Klang, this morning before being knocked down by a car as they attempted to flee the scene. Selangor police chief Shazeli Kahar said the incident occurred at around 9am today, and that investigations were ongoing at the scene. He could not confirm the lorry driver’s condition but said the two suspects were injured. “I can confirm that two men on a motorcycle opened fire on a lorry driver. It is believed that the driver of another vehicle knocked down the two suspects after witnessing the shooting,” he said in a press conference at the state police headquarters here. Shazeli said further details such as the motive of the shooting were still under investigation. “Our investigating officers and forensic team are still on site conducting their investigation,” he said, adding that more details would be released later.
