Cops hunt men who let off fireworks from moving car

(Facebook pic) SHAH ALAM: Police are tracking down several people suspected of setting off fireworks in a dangerous manner from the sunroof of a moving car at Persiaran Ficus, Section U15, here recently. District police chief Ramsay Embol said a report was lodged at 12.48pm today, after the video of the act went viral. He confirmed that the incident occurred in the Elmina Rainforest area. “Investigations found that the 50-second video clip shows the incident occurring at night. “(One of the) male suspects was seen firing several rounds of fireworks into the air while standing in the open sunroof of a car, believed to be driven by another person,” he said in a statement today. He added that the case is being investigated for negligent conduct with respect to explosive substances.
