The disciplinary board said Beluran MP Ronald Kiandee had breached Clause 9.1.4 of the party’s constitution and will be suspended for two Bersatu election terms, effective today. PETALING JAYA: Bersatu has suspended its vice-president, Ronald Kiandee, for violating the party’s constitution and code of conduct. According to a notice from the party’s disciplinary board, the Beluran MP breached Clause 9.1.4 of the party’s constitution and will be suspended for two Bersatu election cycles, effective today. Kiandee shared the notice on his Facebook page, saying the suspension reflected a shift from the party’s original mission as a platform for collective struggle, turning it instead into a vehicle for personal political ambitions. He also asked why he was only suspended, not sacked, if his alleged offence was serious. “I will not appeal. Consider this appeal period over. Period,” he said. MORE TO COME
