(File pic) PETALING JAYA: A baby girl was found abandoned in a rubbish bin outside a house in Taman Putra, Ampang, yesterday evening. Ampang Jaya police chief Azam Ismail said a man lodged a report at 6.27pm after discovering the baby in front of his home. “The baby girl is currently in stable condition and receiving treatment at Ampang Hospital,” he said in a statement today. The case is being investigated under Section 317 of the Penal Code, which carries a maximum of seven years’ jail, a fine, or both upon conviction.
