Penang police chief Azizee Ismail confirmed the arrest of the women, who are believed to be the daycare centre’s workers, according to MalaysiaGazette. The case is being probed for murder. The pair will be brought to the magistrates’ court tomorrow for remand proceedings. The baby was rushed unconscious to the hospital’s emergency department around 4am today. Family members of the victim claim there were elements of abuse, citing CCTV footage retrieved from the daycare centre.
